Meet the women delivering climate science for NSW

11 Feb 2022

At present, less than 30% of researchers worldwide are women. In recognition of the important role of women and girls in science, the UN General Assembly initiated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated each year on 11 February. In honour of this day we proudly profile two of our talented and innovative female climate researchers that are breaking boundaries and contributing to the world-class science that guides our response to climate change adaptation.

Listen as Dr Maquel Brandimarti, Scientist/Project Officer and Dr Nidhi Nishant, Senior Scientist from the Climate Research team in the NSW Department of Planning and Environment share their views on working on one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
