Grants awarded for Net Zero Research and Innovation
Councils across the state were recently welcomed to apply for a share in the $52,000 Research and Innovation fund from the NSW Government. The Fund aims to stimulate and test new ideas for emissions reductions through an evidence-based approach.
Three councils have now been awarded a share of this funding:
- Campbelltown City Council: Creating a Spark – energy sharing communities' project
- Lake Macquarie City Council: Vehicle-to-Grid charging trial for council’s fleet vehicles
- Bathurst Regional Council: Closing the Gap on Food Waste project
